Yesterday, the team from Zoe Transforming Foundation visited a mother of four living in extremely difficult conditions in Kangemi. Her sleeping area was cold, uncomfortable, and unsuitable for her or her children. During the rainy season, water enters the house, making living conditions even more challenging. Currently, she stays with two of her children, while the other two live with her mother upcountry due to the unsafe environment at home.

As part of the visit, Zoe Transforming Foundation provided the mother with a bed, mattress, blankets, and a pillow, and set them up for her. For the first time in a long while, she now has a proper place to sleep. While this was a small intervention, it brought immediate comfort and relief. The Foundation notes that her living situation remains unsafe and is calling for support to help her move into a more secure home where she can live with all her children.
